The MLL's 7th All-Star game pitted the veteran East against the Upstart West, but the ultimate victors were the fans in the stands who watched the first full generation of professional lacrosse stars take the field in Denver.

DENVER - It was a decennial celebration of Major League Lacrosse (MLL). On a mid-July night at INVESCO Field at mile-high Denver, Colorado, the MLL truly brought out its stars who, young and old alike, shined in the league’s seventh All-Star Game closing out the first decade of major league professional lacrosse.
“We are so far ahead of where we ever imagined to be. We always want to make sure that we surround ourselves with the best players, the best operators, the best sponsors,” said MLL founder and fitness guru Jake Steinfeld, best known for his “Body by Jake” workout program. “We had Anheuser-Busch come on in the beginning. It kind of coined the phrase that they’re the sport legitimizer. When ESPN came on board, you know you’re real.”
