Mighty Ducks of Anaheim

Development System of the Year

The Mighty Ducks' nest runneth over:  The MD of A are about to reap the benefits of some great drafting, and a little good fortune.  Joffrey Lupul, Corey Perry, Ryan Getzlaf, and Ladislav Smid, all recent first round draft choices are all about to come into their own. Meanwhile, such undrafted free agents as Dustin Penner and Ryan Shannon have developed in Portland under rookie coach Kevin Dineen far faster than anyone could have expected.

St. Louis Blues

The St. Louis Blues should be upbeat about Peoria Rivermen left wing Peter Sejna, and look to the ECHL horizon for Alaska Aces newcomer Chris Beckfod-Tseu, the first class AA player to break the FAB50 en route to St. Louis.

Albany River Rats (AHL)

The Devils have a knack for developing good young pieces that find a way to fit in New Jersey. This year's system boasts surefire future NHLers, namely Barry Tallackson, Aleksander Suglabov, and Petr Vrana.
