Matt Lashoff was tapped as the number one player in minor league hockey by the editors of Minor Leauge News (MLN). Providence Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask (8), defenseman Matt Hunwick (36), and Pascal Pelletier (44) were also named as top players.
