Training Camps Open This Weekend
Nineteen
former AFL players will join them.
As
the NFL opens training camps with former Arena Football League players
joining them, a pair of past and present Super Bowl champions - St. Louis
Rams, quarterback, Kurt Warner and New England Patriots, wide receiver,
David Patten.
Currently
in its 16th season, the AFL has one week remaining in the 2002
regular season. The ArenaBowl XVI will take place on Sunday, August 18.
Of
the AFL's more than 500 players, 92 have NFL experience, including Los
Angeles, quarterback, Tony Graziani, New York, quarterback, Danny Kanell,
and Georgia, defensive safety, Ron Carpenter.
