Pitching in the Double-A Eastern League, Gavin has a low ERA at 2.39 and a high strikeout to walk ratio at 63-28. He seems to have worked out the kinks in last year's performance. He has a great curveball and a plus fastball that should get even better with maturity.

As a former first round pick (4th overall), Floyd’s status as one of the Phillies top pitching prospects should ensure that he’ll have every opportunity to take the hill someday at Citizen’s Bank Park.
