Shelley Duncan knew there was a good chance he would begin this season at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (SWB), given that the New York Yankees have more stars than the American flag.

The outfielder-first baseman also knew the International League was in for a rude awakening once the Scranton club was assembled.
“It’s the best team I’ve ever played on,’’ says Duncan, who hit seven homers in a 34-game stint with New York in 2007.
“From pitching to fielding and hitting, the Yankees have really assembled something special."
